Today we took the subway and bus out of town to the catacombs. We had the most trouble ith travel today_we kept going the wrong way and then had to get off and get on another bus going the opposite direction. This particular sight had over 15o,ooo graves. These are the great cloud of witnesses who preceded us.
Our first four days in barcelona was nonstop meetings with ministry leaders and those that they are ministering to. We met the man who began campus crusade in spain. He is now in his 70,s and without a let_up. There was great interest in a future summit for his team members and other leading women from the country. In rome, it has all been assignments in prayer, particularly with what we found in the v [Vatican]. Tomorrow morning we take a taxi at 5am to the airport to budapest which is where most of this trip has been planned around. – pray we have wifi in budapest. Love jody
Went to St. Peter in chains to see the Michaelangelo Moses, as usual incredible. Even the veins on his hands are visible. The rains have held off a bit cooler today but perfect weather for our leisurely stroll thru Rome. We are reading Romans aloud as we stop along our travels. As Jody was reading at the church of St. Peter in Chains God brought to mind Paul Wilber Song Let GOD arise. So we sang it and prayed for God to lift the Standard of His Son over this city once again.
Went to the Colliseum and the guide said it was well trained gladiators who fought there not Christians who were martyred their his words “that is a myth”. Hesaid the south side of the C fell in an earthquake because that was reclaimed swamp. Said there are 30 meters of waterways under C that have aquaducts under Rome all the way to the River Tiber. Stopped for a brief lunch and now at the Forum. Taking video here from the Arch of Titus to the basilica of Constantine. More about them in our notes later. Mixture is obvious in that even tho Constantine built a basilica the Temple to Romullos, which is right next door, was not destroyed, nor any othe temple in the Forum. We do not feel any oppression, but also nothing spiritual either.
As I write this Jody is reading aloud ISA 55. Love you all. Claudia and Jody. Isa 55:13
We didn’t sleep very well last night. Left for the airport around 7am. Arrived in Rome around 11am and took the train to Rome. Hotel is okay but no internet. They will give credit for a local internet place but it isn’t necessarily wifi. So far I have carried the computer for nothing. We probably walked 10 miles today, looking at everything and getting our bearings. During our time in Rome, our time is not all preplanned so pray that we hear well and can obey completely. Had gelato, pizza in the afternoon and minestrone and cannelloni for dinner. We are finding favor with ministry leaders at an unparalleled level. The Lord seems to be waking up Europe, arousing leaders and opening their hearts. Love from Jody and Claudia

In Budapest we attend conference with European leaders and learn how we can partner to see the prayer movement spread across Europe. Exciting times…thanks for praying.
