Blistering hot today in old P-Town. Record temperatures hitting 102. Inclement weather in my opinion. I met my daughters at Oneonta Gorge, a place near Portland that is always about 30 degrees cooler on hot days. I played with my grandsons in the creek for a couple of hours. Their laughter and delight as we played in the water was as refreshing as the place we played. So what is this blog entry about? Simply this: the child to the right is probably as old as my grandson Conlan, or maybe as young as his little cousin Gray. If the Ugandan child pictured here had been with us I am certain he would have played with my grandchildren in the clear, cold water. Now, please click the image:
Enough said, but not enough done.
