I tell a story to my grandchildren every year about the Christmas tree. I like all of the traditions of the season to point to Jesus and God’s gift of redemption. I told the story to the Children of MacArthur Blvd. Christian Church in Vancouver, Washington.
In the story, you’ll recognize the tree as being much like you and I. The forest is this dying world. The water is our new life in Christ, and the decorations are the righteousness of God.
