Well, it’s been one of those seasons when I can’t seem to get sat down and write some thoughts. Even now I’m in Chicago with about 20 pastors from the area. Anyway, I wanted to let you know I’m not dead (even though I’ve been sick with “the cold from hell.)

Anyhow, I came across this quote that applies to calling the hungry to the community of the Christ-followers.

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather the wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea”
