Jody’s Journey to the Balkans

~It’s been a while since I’ve updated you about Jody’s upcoming trip to the Balkans. My last mention was a little vague, so here are the details as they’ve solidified.

Jody leaves Portland on October 7th and will return on the 23rd. The first week will be spent in Croatia, flying in to Zagreb and driving to Osijek. The time will be given to a Prayer Summit and travel to nearby villages to connect with women in ministry. She will also be doing some teaching.

On the 15th she will fly to Skopje, in Macedonia, for another Summit and some day trips to surrounding locations. Click here for a map of the area.

Jody has been encouraged in this journey because Macedonia was the open door for Paul’s ministry, a door that opened because of Lydia, a woman who responded to the gospel.

Finally, we are deeply grateful to those of you who responded to our invitation to join us in praying for this journey. Your support is appreciated beyond words. We’re also grateful to those of you who felt inclined to help financially. It is humbling to know that the Lord would speak to you and that you would express your response in faithful generosity.

Any further gifts for the work in the Balkans can be made payable to “IRM,” marked “Balkans” and mailed to

  1. Randy and I are continuing to pray for you and Jody. Let us know if you tire of skinny meat sandwiches. We’d love to grab a meal with you Dan.

Miss you guys – love you both much! Praying peace, protection and confidence in the Lord’s leading …

    Grace –
    Beth
