Well, Jody made it safely on her first stop, Chicago. She left Portland yesterday at around 2:30pm to meet up with her traveling companion in Chicago. Claudia is the one through whom the original connections were made to make this trip to Europe. I talked to her this morning (Wednesday, the16th) and they were dealing with a computer issues (ah, MS Outlook…yet another reason to use Thunderbird or Airset) and finalizing their travel arrangements from Rome to Budapest Should I be concerned that they got a great ticket price on something called “Whiz Air”? Pray without ceasing.

We also tried out Skype for phone calls. So far so good.
