I have just arrived in abou korkas--it is almost midnigjt.
We went to Minya first to have bbq--we had gone about 14 hrs without
food.  We were surrounded by guards everywhere we went in asyut---plus
they guarded all the way north until we gave them a gift to stop.
I am so tired tonight and we start at 9am.  Love, jody
