We went downstairs at 7:30pm to go to dinner--got picked up at 9:30 and
have been in the car for one and a half hours and we are still driving.
It is almost 11pm and we have yet to arrive at the restaurant. There are
between 86 and 100 million people in Cairo and they are all out driving
tonite.  Atef was in one accident on the way to pick us up and we almost
had 2 on the way.  Arrived for dinner around 11--finished 12:30. We're
on a wild ride home in a taxi. Now would be a great time to pray.  Had
a lamb shank--tahini and hummus. Yum.  Love you--Jody
